• Assistant Professor position (tenure-track) in Theoretical Data Science and Machine Learning, Faculty of Informatics at USI Università della Svizzera italiana. The Faculty of Informatics at Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) welcomes applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Theoretical Data Science and Machine Learning. The faculty’s focus is always on excellence in both research and teaching. There are rich opportunities for internal collaboration among the whole Faculty and with the solar research institute IRSOL, biomedical institutes including IOR, and IRB, the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC) as well as the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS). Internships

During the second year of the EUmaster4HPC programme, students have the invaluable opportunity to undertake internships at various esteemed organisations, including companies, industries, research institutions and supercomputing centres. Spanning from 3 to 6 months in duration, these internships serve as a vital component of the curriculum, enabling students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills. Through these immersive experiences, students will deepen their understanding of their chosen field and enhance their readiness for professional endeavours upon completion of the programme.
